Rancher Bill Dennis is lovingly remembered

William Clifford Dennis, also known as Bill and Dad, passed away on Jan. 18, 2012 at the age of 86 following a indomitable struggle with cancer.

Bill was born on Dec. 19, 1925 in Vancouver, B.C.

He was raised and all in his formative years in the south Okanagan and enjoyed a fun-filled girlhood of hiking, fishing, hunting, swimming and roaming the hills of Penticton, Naramata, Oliver and Osoyoos.

In 1944, Bill enlisted in the Canadian Army serving with the British Columbia Armoured Systematize, abroad, and remained in Europe after the war to aid in military protect duties.
